analysis of enterprise network links not permanently instrumented with Sniffer Distributed or Sniffer InfiniStream appliances
analysis of network equipment in lab environments prior to roll-out on a production network.

By incorporating Expert analysis capabilities and advanced protocol decodes, Sniffer Portable can determine, pinpoint, and analyze the toughest performance problems automatically. Sniffer Portable Network Analyzer software runs on desktop, portable or notebook hardware platforms, and it can utilize advanced, custom hardware components to ensure full line-rate capture capabilities. Sniffer VoIP Intelligence and Sniffer Mobile Intelligence are optionally available.
