Network Performance Tracking
Sniffer Mobile leverages Sniffer Distributed's network Sniffer software capabilities, adding mobile wireless protocol reports to those already available in Sniffer Distributed. Graphical displays provide drill-down capability to determine root causes and create additional reports. Reports can be printed or exported to the Web, for a snapshot view of network performance.
Customized Filtering
Filters enable network operators to easily isolate specific types of traffic for troubleshooting of network issues and problems. Sniffer Mobile provides monitor, display, and capture filters for mobile protocols such as IP Mobility (IPMOB), Mobile IP, and WAP Connectionless Session Service.
Comprehensive Support for Mobile Wireless Protocols
With its extensive protocol decodes, Sniffer Distributed already supports 2G mobile wireless data networks with TCP/IP troubleshooting and analysis. The addition of Sniffer Mobile augments these capabilities with mobile decodes, providing comprehensive protocol decode coverage for 2G, 2.5G, and 3G networks.
